Today I have a card to share that I made with the new Wood Outline Butterfly stamp from the All the Feels release. I really like how SSS is coming out with some wood stamps. It takes me back to my start in stamping when I was a Stampin' Up demonstrator. Did anyone else start that way??? It's fun to use them as a decoration in my office. Here is an image of the stamp:
I also used the stamp set called Best Friend Ever because it's a floral! Here is my card:
I started by stamping a floral image from the Best Friend Ever stamp set. I stamped it several times on the bottom of the card with MFT Natural Ink. The images slightly overlapped, so I lazily just used a piece of scrap paper to block parts. I then colored all of the flowers with colored pencils.
Next, I stamped the Wood Outline Butterfly stamp on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I colored it with colored pencils again. I cut the butterfly out and attached it to the top right of the card. I only glued the center of the butterfly down and I bent the wings upward. I used two Nuvo Drops on it - Red Sunstone Glitter on the wings and Cocoa Blush Jewel on the body.
I die-cut the CZ Love You die out of both white cardstock and twice out of the mulberry cardstock I used for the card base. I glued them together using two of the letters so there was more dimension. I attached that to the top of the card. I cut a pre-printed sentiment strip from the Reverse Love set and attached that under the Love You by slightly cutting off one corner. I finished the card with some Violet Galaxy Nuvo Drops around the sentiment and the flowers.
I always feel funny blogging with only one card to share because I often share 5 at a time. But that is ALL I have for you today! We are going through a house remodel and it is a busy time over here. But I will be back with a "one card, five ways" post later this week. Thanks so much as always for visiting! Suzy
