Today is the ALL THE FEELS release by Simon Says Stamp - yippppeeeee! I get so excited for new releases and I know Heidi the owner of SSS does too! She told me today they are her favorite part of every month as she loves seeing other's excitement and all the beautiful projects made with the products! You will see lots of designer blog posts showing off the new products today, but there is also a 2 day blog hop on Friday and Saturday, so come visit then as well. And of course, you can always just visit the All The Feels Gallery to see ALL the cards made with the release as well as add your own!
I have a new set of watercolor cards in this release called Sunshine and Rainbows. I think it was raining the week I drew these and I felt like I needed some sunshine and rainbows! Don't we all?!?!?!? Here is an image of the card set which includes 2 each of 6 designs for a total of 12 card fronts printed on watercolor paper:
I will have 3 of these colored to show you on the blog hop Friday. I also have a "one stamp, five ways" post made using the new Floral Garden stamp set that will be on the SSS Blog on March 31st. Here is an image of those cards:
And now I have a card to show you using the new Bouquet For Mom stamp and die set:
I adore the Sweet Garden Background stamp as it is one of the first background stamps I have seen that fit perfectly on the front of a standard A2 card. I loved how it fit so nicely on this rounded corner rectangle leaving some space around the edges to mount it on a white card base. I first rubbed Kirsch Flamingo Oxide Ink on the cardstock making the edges darker and the inside lighter. I then embossed the stamp with white embossing powder. I guess I could have done this the other way around instead.
Next I stamped the Bouquet for Mom girl and all of the butterflies on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I colored them all in with colored pencils. I used the matching Bouquet For Mom dies to die cut each item. I mounted them with foam tape and attached them all to the background.
I embossed the sentiment from the stamp with Kitsch Flamingo embossing glaze so it would match the background perfectly. I have to say, I don't always consider the dies worth the price for me as I don't mind fussy cutting. But this set has dies for all of the sentiments in the set which I love. They look so good cut out, don't they? I also attached the sentiment with foam tape behind it.
Has anyone else purchased Scotch foam tape recently? They have changed it and not in a good way! I'm hoping it is a temporary change due to pandemic issues. It isn't as thick, it sticks to your scissors, and it sticks to everything else too. I hate when a good product changes!
Do you like the All the Feels release? What are your favorite items? Mine are the Flower Garden stamp set, the Bouquet For MOM stamp set I used above, the Sweet Garden Background stamp, and my Sunshine and Rainbow watercolor cards because I love rainbows and they are fun to paint! Don't forget to come back on Friday to see them colored and made into cards. Thanks so much for visiting today and have fun with this new release!!! Suzy

Sweet garden background stamp truly adds a coordinating effect to the card. So many ways in which the stamp can be used for a variety of cards

Beautiful coloring! I like to color with pencils, but mine don't turn out as wonderful as this. I love the Sweet Garden background stamp the best! Thanks for the inspiration.
