Today is the first day of a 3 day blog hop celebrating the brand new pretty Pink Posh Spring collection of products. The products are being released today, March 8th. I am a guest for this hop (as I'm no longer on the PPP design team due to lots of SSS commitments!). I have four cards to share with you using some of the new products.
I started by stamping all of the images from the new Easter Bunnies stamp set twice each with multiples of the accessory stamps. I used MFT Natural Ink on white cardstock and colored them all in with colored pencils. I die-cut them all out with the matching dies for that set. I also colored a set of the Spring Robins set and die-cut those as well. I ended up having SO many images that I made two cards with them that are very similar in looks. Here they are together:
CARD 1:
When I was on the team last Spring, I had some extra border images colored from the Spring Days stamp set. I wanted to incorporate them into one of my cards. I used Distress Oxide Ink to make the background of this card. I then arranged the two borders from the Spring Days stamp set and a new border from the Spring Borders set. I added a Picket Fence die in between some of the borders. I attached all of these to the background.
I arranged a few of my stamped images from the Easter Bunnies stamp set in front of the borders. I used foam tape behind the heads so they would stand out. I used Nuvo Glitter Drops on the eggs so they would sparkle! I used some ChalkStick Nuvo Drops on the top of the card and then I embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set with Ranger Kitsch Flamingo embossing powder in the middle of the white droplets. They were still wet, so some of the embossing powder attached to them as well which I liked!
CARD 2:
I made this slimline card background the same way I made the last card. I used Distress Oxide inks for the grass and the sky (colors listed in supply list below). I stamped the picket fence from the Spring Borders stamp set on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and then stamped a portion of it again so it would fit on a slimline card. I colored it with a light gray colored pencil and cut it out (didn't have the matching die, but there is one).
I glued the fence to the top middle of the card. I then added the rest of my stamped images from the Easter Bunnies stamp set. Again I used foam tape behind the bunny ears so they would look more dimensional. I also added a bird from the Spring Robins set on the fence.
I stamped a sentiment from a set from last year called Spring Wreath on the top of the card with black ink. I used some Chalk Stick Nuvo Drops and added lots of Nuvo Glitter Drops on the eggs and flower centers.
CARD 3:
I used the new Spring Eggs stamp set for this card. I stamped the eggs randomly over a white cardstock card front using MFT Natural Ink. I then colored them in with colored pencils. These eggs were so much fun to color! There is a matching die, so I look forward to using them die-cut out as well. I cut this piece down and attached it to a pink card base.
I stamped a sentiment from the Easter Bunnies stamp set with Ranger Kitsch Flamingo embossing powder. I used some Enchanting Pink Glitter Drops around the sentiment and eggs. I resisted the temptation to dress up all the eggs with glitter drops haha.

I'm blown away by all the little details and items you combined to create your first 2 cards - must be one special person to get a card like one of those! You are really good at no-line coloring. These look so cute! I am just now starting my Easter party decorations, so this comes in handy as an example. So sweet

I am loving these two cards. The bright colors just make me happy. The first one made with the spring boarders dies, I can imagine how much my little nieces and nephews would like it. Great work.

I think this is the only type of Easter Egg coloring I want to ever do!! So relaxing and you have a gorgeous scene and card afterward!!! These scenes are magical and are so adorable!!
