The MFT New Release is NOW live! And oh my goodness - today I have a card to share that is my favorite card I have EVER MADE! And I am allowed to brag about it as it isn't ME that makes it amazingly cute. It's the products. The Birdie Brown Spring Gnomes stamp set is just so darling and I love it so very much. I love Easter and Spring stamp sets anyway, but then you add in gnomes and the result is irresistible! The Garden Gate die is also so very cute and works perfectly with this cute stamp set. Here is an image of the stamp:
I wanted to fit all of the cute images from this stamp set on one card, so I used a slimline shape card that is 3.5" x 8.5".
I started by making the background. I used the MFT Slimline Grassy Hills die for the grass. I used the Slimline Cloud Edges stencil for the sky. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn on the grass and in Tumbled Glass for the clouds. I attached these two pieces and cut them to be a little smaller than the card base. I attached them to a white card base so they were framed.
I stamped all of the images in the Spring Gnomes stamp set on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I stamped two of all of the eggs and flowers and grass so I would have plenty for my card. I colored all of them in with colored pencils and die-cut them out.
I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on the top with Intense Black Ink. I then die-cut the cute Garden Gate die several times and used a gray pencil to shade it. I attached that over the background. I then attached all of the cute images I had colored over the background to create this darling scene. I used Glitter Nuvo Drops and some Jewel Nuvo drops over the eggs, flowers, and grass.
is this Spring Gnomes the cutest stamp set you have ever seen??? I can't wait to use it again to make more Easter cards. I love the way this card turned out so much, especially with the edition of the Garden Gate. You can see the entire new MFT release here. Thanks so much for visiting friends! Suzy

Wow, you are so good at no line coloring. The look is so springy and cute. And the gnomes, all dressed up like rabbits, very cute.

Hi, Suzy -
I'm not much on gnomes, but this scene is so cute that it's enchanting! I love the fence too... already ordered it.
You're such a fiercely talented representative of this trade... we're so lucky we get to see your work for inspiration!
