One of the stamp sets in the new SSS Hello Beautiful Release is a floral set, so of course I have been dying to use it! Unfortunately I only made one card with it to share today. I will be using this set again though! The stamp set is called Blooming Meadows. There are matching dies and you can also buy it as a set as shown below. I did appreciate having the dies for this one!
Here is my card:
I started by stamping all of the images in the Blooming Meadows stamp set with MFT Natural Ink on white cardstock twice. I colored them all in with colored pencils. I die-cut them out not sure what I was going to do with the flowers yet. But since i had colored 2 of each image, I knew I wanted to use a lot of them on one card.
I made a background using the Tim Holtz Intertwined embossing folder that was in the SSS special edition Easter kit. I love it as it makes really dimensional embossed images. I attached all of the flowers to the top and bottom of the background. I did end up with 2 left, but I used most of them! Then came the hard part...
I have the hardest time deciding what greetings to use on cards. I go through all my dies, all of my already die-cut and stamped greetings in my stash, the preprinted sentiment strips, ... I decided there were way too many choices! I went with this CZ Love You die as it fit so perfectly in the open space I had created. I die-cut it from white and a nice coral/pink color and attached it to the card front. I added some sparkling clear sequins.
I hope you enjoyed this card using the Blooming Meadows stamp set. Thanks for visiting today and have a great weekend friends! Suzy
