Last year, SSS released a 6" x 8" stamp set that is so darling, but I never got a chance to work with it. It is called Bunny Butt Peekaboo. I love bunnies and I really love butts, so I knew this would be a fun one to color! I have a card to share with you using this darling Easter stamp set and matching die. Here is an image:
Here is my card:
I wanted to do a "random stamping" background for this card using all the cute eggs, jelly beans, and flowers in the stamp set. I stamped them on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I colored them all in with colored pencils. Next, I stamped the bunny face and bunny butt the same way and also colored them in using primarily a light gray color for shading. I didn't have the dies, but I easily fussy cut out the bunny.
I attached the bunny face to the front of the card using foam tape behind it. I embossed a sentiment from the stamp set with white embossing powder on a pink banner die cut with MFT Fishtail Flag Duo die. I cut off a bit from both ends of the banner and then used foam tape again behind it. I attached it right below the bunny. I added the two smaller banner pieces under each end. I used some sequins from the SSS Cupcake Frosting sequin mix on each side of the banner. I also decorated the eggs with lots of Nuvo Glitter and Jewel drops. I attached a turquoise frame around the card front using a Hello Bluebird scene die frame.
I added the bunny butt to the backside of the card. I couldn't NOT use it, right? It would be so cute to use for a spinner card!
I think this stamp set is so cute that I'll have to use it again. In fact, I almost did a "one stamp, five ways" post with it, but I didn't have enough time. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did - it's called Bunny butt Peekaboo in case you forgot - hahaha. Thanks for visiting and have a great week friends! suzy
