One of my favorite floral stamp sets by Simon Says Stamp came out in one of their card kits in April of 2019 called Delicate Flowers. Here is an image of it if you haven't seen it:
Even though it was in a card kit, it was also sold alone and is still in stock. There are also dies to go with it and I wish I had had them when I made this card! I made 5 cards with this set when it came out and you can see that blog post HERE. The stamp set alone is sold here Delicate Flowers and the dies are sold here Delicate Flowers Dies or it is sold as a bundle here Delicate Flowers Bundle.
I stamped ALL of the flowers and leaves in the set because I wasn't sure which ones I would want to use. I used MFT Natural Ink so I could color them without outlines. I colored them with colored pencils. I think they gave them a nice soft realistic look. I then fussy cut them all out.
I used the Detail Bohemian Plate for the background - it was part of the Die-cember release. I then tried to fit ALL of the flowers and leaves on the front of the card. I ended up with 3 flowers leftover! But I did get a lot on there! I glued just the center pieces so the leaves stick up a bit. I then die-cut a Thank You sentiment preprinted from the Thanks Sentiment Strips (on how I love these!). I die-cut it with the Sentiment Label dies. The sentiments in this stamp set were really nice, so it wouldn't have been that hard to add my own, but I got lazy. I attached it with foam tape under it and glued the flower to the top so I could cover up the comma that was on the end of it (it said thank you friend). I added some sparkling clear sequins to finish it.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Now I have to decide who I need to thank so I can send it out! I have a goal of sending more of my cards out as they are taking up way too much room. In my room. ha Happy weekend friends! Suzy
