When the Crafty Bunnies stamp set was released as part of the Crafty Hugs release, I really wanted to create a card with it. But I didn't get a chance until NOW (months later!). Here is an image of the 6" x 8" stamp set:
With all these cute little bunnies in this set, I wanted to make a slim-line card so I could show them off. And here it is:
This is a one layer card with a frame over it. I stamped all of the images in the stamp set with MFT Natural Ink and then I colored them in with colored pencils. I colored the background with Copic markers. I couldn't figure out what colors to use on the background - isn't that always the hardest part of making a card?!? I decided to make the "walls" mauve and the "ground" teal. Now idea why!
I embossed the sentiments on the top left corner with SSS Mermaid embossing powder. I love the big crafty sentiment, but unfortunately I couldn't fit it on my card! I used some Nuvo drops on all of the craft items. I also added some white ones around the sentiment.
I love making one layer cards that are focused on primarily coloring since that's my jam! I hope you like my card and thank you so much for visiting. If you like this stamp set it is called Crafty Bunnies at SSS. xoxo and happy new year soon! suzy
