Today I have a "one stamp, three coloring methods" post to share with you. I used the Simon Says Stamp Outline Merry Christmas cling stamp that was part of their Holly Jolly release. Here is an image:
As usual, I used colored pencils, Copic markers, and Karin Brushmarkers (or watercolors) for my 3 images.
Here are the individual images of each one colored:
Next, I made the three into cards. I die-cut some snowflakes from different glitter papers. I used the CZ Good Cheer Stamp and Die set for the sentiment on all 3. It comes with a rectangle die that fits the greeting I used or I used the SSS Thin Frame Dies for the sentiment block. I used the SSS Thin Frame Dies for the outside edge of each so I could mat them on colored cardstock. I used white embossing powder for the sentiments on all 3.
Which one is your favorite? I usually like the Karin Brushmarkers the best. But maybe I just like the look of the embossing powder the most. I like to use embossing powder with the Karin Brushmarkers as that way they don't "seep" outside of the lines. I like to use black ink with Copics because they are hard to use with a light color of ink with no lines. Now pencils are easy to use with no lines as you are drawing right over the light color of ink. So that's why I picked each stamping method for these.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you have a great week! xoxo suzy
