Today's SSS STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is with Newton's Nook. It is called Pocketful of Happy stamp set and Pocket Full of Happy stamp and die set. Here is an image:
I made a card using this cute stamp set using my favorite "random stamping" technique.
I used my Misti to arrange ALL of the stamps in this set over a card size piece of cardstock. I turned them this way and that and used the little paw print to make things fit. I always work from the inside out when doing this technique. It reminds me of doing a puzzle which is probably why I like doing it so much! I used SSS Intense Black Ink as i planned on using Copics on this one. I love that it works with both watercolor and Copics!
Since I've been using my Copics more lately, I'm really falling back in love with them. They are much faster than pencils which is always a good thing. I used them on the pockets here. I then used pencils for the dogs. I die-cut a banner out of two colors of blue cardstock using the SSS Word Mix 2 dies. I embossed the sentiment from the set with SSS Steel Navy embossing powder. I added some Glossy Nuvo Drops in white and two colors of blue to match the two card stock colors. I also added some sparkling clear sequins.
Isn't this set so cute? You can purchase the Pocketful of Happy stamp set and Pocketful of Happy stamp and die while supplies last at Simon Says Stamp. Thank you for visiting today! xoxo suzy
