Today's STAMPtember stamp set collaboration is between SSS and Kitchen Sink and is called Autumn Pumpkin stamp set. This is a biggie coming in at 6" x 8". Here is an image:
The stamps are flat stamps that layer so as we used to call it in my Stampin' Up days, two-step stamping. But most of these are three-steps and the pumpkin is five-steps! So get out your colored inks for this one!
There are instructions on the packaging for how to stamp these. And on the back of the packaging, it tells you that it is easier to start with the last stamp in the sequence and work backwards. I tried it both ways and found this way to be easier too! I started this card by stamping the leaves on the bottom of the card front. I then used Copics to color in the ground around them. I also colored the sky area with Copics. Then I went back in and stamped some more over the top with green inks instead. I stamped the pumpkins and leaves on white cardstock and then cut them out and layered them over the top of the background.
The coloring on this photo is so bad. I tried everything to fix it in photoshop and couldn't get it right so please forgive me! I embossed the sentiment on the top of the card with Antique Gold and Leaf Green embossing powder. I used three colors of Nuvo drops around the leaves on the bottom of the card (see supply list).
Thanks for visiting today. I hope you like this stamp set by Kitchen Sink called the Autumn Pumpkin stamp set. Have a great week! Suzy
