Hi friends! Today there are TWO different collaboration stamp sets available. One is from Memory Box called the Life Path stamp set. I didn't get a chance to create anything with that one, but it is adorable. The second one is with Concord & 9th called Tis the Season and I've made a card with it to share with you. Here is an image of both of the stamp sets (just click on them to go straight to the SSS store to purchase!):
I just LOVE that floral arrangement in the Concord & 9th set, so I had to stamp it and color it in with colored pencils.
I wanted to try to use the stamp in a way that wasn't intended as I figured everyone that designed with it might use it that way. To show a different angle of using it, I turned it on a different angle haha. I used MFT Natural Ink as always and stamped the outside of each floral side along the sides of my cardstock. Some of the pieces overlapped a little, but using a light color of ink means you can cover it up when coloring. I colored them in with colored pencils. This was really fun to color which is my favorite thing to do!
This isn't really a close up image, but it does show a different angle speaking of angles! I had this "Happy Christmas" die from last year, so I used it as it filled the center space better than the greetings in the stamp set. I die-cut the letters in red cardstock twice to give them more dimension and I die-cut the frame in gold metallic paper. It was hard to get a good photo of it. I used some sparkling clear sequins around the edges. This card is very simple, but it did take a while to color (which I enjoyed if I didn't mention that). I think this stamp would look gorgeous embossed in gold. I had lots of other ideas for it!
Thanks for visiting - always appreciated. The Tis the Season stamp set by Concord & 9th and the Life Path stamp set by Memory Box will go fast, so jump on them quickly if you are interested.
