Today's SSS STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is with Hero Arts called Park Bench. Here is an image:
I couldn't wait to create a little scene with these cute images.
I stamped the images with MFT Natural Ink as a one layer card. After I stamped it, I realized it would look cute in the shape of an oval, so I die-cut it using the new SSS Nested Oval Dies. I am really enjoying mixing Copics with colored pencils lately. I used Copics for the background and colored pencils for all of the stamped images. I think they blend really nicely together!
I tried mounting it on LOTS of different patterned papers and cardstock colors and many looked good. So then I couldn't decide! Last, I tried white and realized I liked it best as it made the image pop. But it seemed too plain once I had it put together. I was adding some Glossy White Nuvo Drops to the image, so I decided to add them over the white card base too to make it look like swiss dots. I usually use Texture Paste and a stencil for this type of look, but this worked really well too! I also used some Nuvo Drops on the flowers.

I have two blog posts up today as there are two sets being released, so visit my other one to see the Ink Blot collaboration set! Thanks so much for stopping by! Suzy
