Today's STAMPtember collaboration with Simon Says Stamp is with Gina K. Designs. This 6x8" stamp set is called Snowflake Cascade and is also sold with a die as a bundle pictured here:
I've made two cards to share with you today using the Snowflakes Cascade stamp set (didn't use the die at all for these):
My first card is a slim-line card:
I used Ranger Watercolor Paper for the front of this card. I first embossed the border stamp with gold embossing powder twice running horizontally on the front of the card. I used SSS Antique Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I painted over this with Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Catherine Wheel. I flicked some gold and white splatters on the card using the Kuretake Zig Starry Colors paint (a great thing to have on hand for holiday cards!).
I die-cut a circle with a stitched edge circle die out of white cardstock and then another circle using the SSS Word Mix 2 Wafer Dies largest circle with gold glitter paper. I embossed a snowflake on the circle with the same Antique Gold embossing powder. I then die-cut a strip using the SSS Sentiment Label dies out of white cardstock. I embossed the sentiment with the same gold embossing powder. I embossed the top of the ornament and the bow and fussy cut them out. I layered all of these pieces on the front of the card. I added some gold confetti sequins and some gold Nuvo drops. Last, I added a gold glitter cardstock frame using a Hello Bluebird slim-line die (they all have this frame around them).
I die-cut a piece of Ranger Watercolor Paper with the SSS A2 largest frame. I then painted it with Meteorite Shower Shimmer Powder. I flicked some of the shimmer powder and some white acrylic gouache over the front. I then embossed a bunch of the white snowflakes over the front of the card using Ranger white embossing powder.
I stamped the sentiment on another one of the Sentiment Lables and embossed it with SSS Steel Navy embossing powder. I attached that to the top of the card. I added some glossy white nuvo drops and some midnight sky glitter nuvo drops around the front of the card. I used PPP white jewels in the center of each of the snowflakes. Last I added 3 sparkling clear sequins around the banner.
I hope you enjoyed these two cards and all of the other amazing inspiration using this Snowflake Cascade Gina K. Designs stamp set from the other talented Simon designers. If you are interested in buying this stamp set, do it fast as these collaboration sets are limited in quantity and run out fast (and word on the street is this is the hottest one being sold in STAMPtember!). The Studio Katia sets were gone before the end of the first day! Thanks for visiting my friends! Suzy xoxo
Lovely cards! So lovely but then so is this stamp set. Nice to see the border stamp works with a slimline card. Glad I ordered this stamp set before they ran out. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!

Thank you for your design. I found your site by searching for this stamp set - love your ideas. I have never been so sad about something like not buying a stamp , but then again, I've never seen anything like this one either. the cards being made are so beautiful and I really like the slimline one your did. very sweet. It's truly not cool that SSS doesn't let people buy it, selling out in a few minutes was not right. All the inspiration videos that were posted that day just upset so many people. I hope Gina K comes out with something similar or maybe others will resale theirs. I've tried to find people willing to sell it - one lady wrote me and said she sent it back to SSS that day and would help me try to buy it but SSS wouldn't let me even buy the one she returned ? Oh well, with all this interest it's made people like me find designers like you : ) thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Beautiful! I so LOVE this set and wanted it so badly but of course it sold out too quickly. If you'd ever consider selling your used set, please let me know. Thank you!
