Today's STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is between SSS and Clearly Besotted called Skating Around and Skating Around stamp and die. I don't have ANY of their stamp sets! And I have to say, I think this one is my favorite of ALL of the collab sets - it is so darn cute! Here is an image:
I have another slim-line card to share with you. It seems like I am making more slim-line than regular size lately. They definitely work better for creating scenes which is my favorite thing to do!
I stamped ALL of the images in the Skating Around stamp set with MFT Natural Ink and colored them in with colored pencils. I used a SSS circle die to cut out the circular stamp and it fit PERFECTLY! I was so excited. I also got lucky to get it perfectly centered as I couldn't see where the edges were.
Once I had the circle cut out, I realized it fit perfectly in the center of a slim-line. So I drew the same snow banks on the card base and then colored them in with Copics. I fussy cut all the little cuties out and attached them around the circle.
The bottom of the circle was the perfect place to stamp a greeting. I used Ranger Diamond Stickles on the edges of the snowbanks and on the snowballs and around the snow. I used glitter Nuvo drops on the tree decorations. I put some sequins on the background, but I wasn't sure I wanted them on there so I didn't glue them down. I meant to photograph it both ways to see which I preferred and I forgot to. So you get sequins haha!
Who is with me? Cutest set ever? I think so! It reminds me of the style of Mama Elephant and I love their stamps. These little dogs and cats are just so darn cute. It will be gone SOON so act now if you are interested: Skating Around Stamp Set and Skating Around Stamp and Die. Thanks so much!!! suzy
