MFT has their June release today and I have 3 cards to share with you using my two favorite new stamp sets from the release. The first is by Stacey Yacula called Hooray Kind of Day and the second is called Sunny Vibes. Here are images of both stamp sets:
CARD 1:
I made this slim-line card in a vertical method for my first time ever. I thought it would be a good way to use ALL of the stamps in this set on one card. I started with a piece of cardstock cut to be 3.5" wide x 8.5" long. I applied Distress Oxide Ink over two different stencils. I used Waves and Hills with Mowed Lawn ink for the grass and Clouds For Days with Tumbled Glass for the sky.
I stamped all of the images from the Hooray Kind of Day stamp with MFT Natural Ink on white cardstock. I colored them all in with colored pencils. I used Tonic Nuvo Glitter Drops over the flowers and Tonic Crystal Glaze over the balloon.
I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on the top of the card using black ink. I also stamped a smaller curved sentiment on the flag.
I used the same stamp set for this card, but figured out a way to get ALL of the images on a standard size card this time. I started by using the SY Scene Builder stamp set for the background. I stamped it on Ranger Watercolor Paper with MFT Natural Ink (just one stamp was used). I then painted the grass and sky with watercolors. I used a black fine tip pen to add outlines around the trees and between the grass and sky.
I stamped all of the images from the Hooray Kind of Day stamp with MFT Natural Ink on white cardstock. I colored them in with colored pencils again, but this time I outlined all of the images with a fine tip black pen. I know it makes no sense as I could have just stamped with black ink, but I don't like black outlines and I can get a much finer outline with a fine tip black marker. Crazy? yes... I attached all of the images over the background using foam tape under some of them. I added some Glitter Nuvo Drops over the flowers and some white glossy drops over the background. I stamped the sentiment on the banner with black ink.
CARD 3:
I used the Sunny Vibes stamp set for this card. First I stamped all of the images on a card size piece of white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I die-cut the piece to be one size smaller than a card front. I then colored all of the images in with colored pencils.
I used Lawn Fawn Guava cardstock for the card base and to die-cut a Fishtail Flag Banner die for the sentiment. I stamped it with white embossing powder and attached it over the bottom of the card with foam tape. I added some Nuvo Drops in English Mustard Gloss, Red Berry Gloss, and Bohemian Teal.
That's it for today! Thanks so much for coming to visit. I always love creating with the beautiful new MFT products to give you some inspiration while making your own shopping lists. Have fun creating friends! Suzy

I love how you mimicked the style of each stamp set in your coloring. Stacey's set has all the fur texture to go with the broken fur lines of her set, and then the other set has really nice, smooth coloring. You knock it out of the park every time!
