It's another day of LOTS of tags on my blog! I blogged 22 a couple of days ago for Simon Says Stamp and now today I have another 16 for Hello Bluebird. I think my Christmas tags are officially done (unless i dec
ide to give more than 38 gifts away - haha). Today's post is part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Here are all of the contributors to this daily Christmas Tag blog hop:
I used two tag dies by Hello Bluebird called Gallery Frame #4 Die and the Stitched Tag Builder Die for all of my tags. I also used ALL of the penguins from their Christmas stamp sets on them as well as the stand-a-lone Frosty Flakes dies. I used several Christmas stamp sets for the greetings. All of the stamps I used are in my supply list at the bottom of this post linked to both Hello Bluebird and to Simon if they have them. So let's get started!
This is a photo of all 16 of my tags together. I used penguins on every one and snowflakes on every one.
This photo and the next one show 8 of my tags together. For the background of these tags, I used Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powders. I absolutely LOVE the way they watercolor and the cool texture you get from them. Not to mention those bright colors have my heart. I love using non-traditional Christmas colors and these are my all time FAVORITE colors, so why not use them for Christmas!
Now there are photos of just three tags together so you can get a close look at them. I used colored twine to match each tag tied in a knot at the top of each. I used some Glitter Nuvo Drops and Stickels to decorate them (all listed in supply list at the bottom of this post).
The sentiments all come from HB stamps as well and they are all in my supply list. I looked for ones that would fit on small tags and make sense to give with a gift.
I embossed most of the sentiments, usually with white embossing powder. Sometimes I used a color. And on a few I just used black ink.
All of the snowflakes are covered with Ranger Stickels - they have a wide variety of clear with glitter ones.
I used some snow banks from the Snowy Sky Scene die on the bottom of many of the tags covered with either Moonstone Glitter Paste or some of the Stickels or Glitter Nuvo Drops. You can also use just glue or glossy accents with white glitter over it.
I used white paint to splatter snow on some of my backgrounds. The tag on the far right is made with a background using Marine Mist Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

This is a pack of cute penguins. You did a great job. I'm sure they're not called a pack. Maybe a gaggle?

These are adorable. Your backgrounds look wonderful. The penguins are adorable. There's just something about intricate snowflakes that I love to see. They look great paired with the penguins.
