I have two cards to share with you today using the new products. First is this card using the new Sunflowers stamps and Sunflowers dies. It also uses the Wafers Stencil for the background and the Spooky Fence Die.
I started this card by using Distress Oxide Inks for the background. I used my new Picket Fence Brushes and applied three colors of green - Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint. I then cut a piece for the ground and used Antique Linen on it as well as some Copic Markers for the shading (over the ink - works well). I die-cut the Spooky Fence die from white cardstock and colored that with Copic Markers. I created the background with these three pieces.
I stamped the flowers and leaves with MFT Natural Ink and colored them in with colored pencils. I arranged them over the background tucking them behind the fence and under the ground. I stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder on the top of the background. I added some PPP jewels in Expresso and Shamrock.
My second card uses the new Thanksgiving Scene Stamp and the Happy Thanksgiving Script die.
I used the PPP Stitched Notes die for the background. I watercolored the outside piece with reds and oranges. I stamped the Thanksgiving Scene Stamp in the center of the middle piece using white cardstock. I then colored it in with colored pencils.
I used the PPP Leaves Stencil for the leaves around the sentiment. I just traced inside the leaves with a pencil and then colored them in. I die-cut the Happy Thanksgiving die from both brown cardstock and orange cardstock and layered them on the card. I added some Espresso Jewels to finish the card.
Tomorrow is the first day of a 2 day blog hop to celebrate the new release so come back and visit as I will have two more cards to share. Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
