Hi friends! Today I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you using the brand new SSS card kit called Party Like A Panda. Here is an image of the kit:
This kit has some darling patterned papers that I will be showing on all of my cards. It also has a 6x8" stamp set that I'll be focusing on that has matching dies and they can be purchased together. There is a small panda die called the Picture Book Panda in the kit that you can buy alone as well. There is black and white flocking sheets that you can use for the die-cutting on the panda or add them to your stamped images. Here is an image of the stamp in the kit also called Party Like A Panda!
Here are my five cards with directions and supplies below each:
This card uses one of the patterned papers in the kit. I die-cut a piece to be just a little smaller than a white card base. I also die-cut a SSS Stitched Oval from white cardstock and attached that over the center of my paper.
I stamped the bear and balloons on white cardstock and colored them in with colored pencils. I cut them out as I didn't have the dies which was really easy to do. I attached them to the oval and drew a ground in with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on the top of the oval with black ink. I added some Raspberry Jewels around the oval to finish it.
You can't use a birthday stamp set without making a shaker card! I started this one by die-cutting one of the papers with a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle the full card size. I made the shaker window using a SSS Stitched Circle die with white cardstock on the inside. I added some sequins using two SSS sequin mixes (Mother of Pearl and Pineapple) and some PPP Jewels (colors are all listed in the supply list at the end of this post).
I used the CZ HBD die from the last SSS product release for the greeting. I colored the letters with Copic Markers. I stamped the images on white cardstock and colored them all in with colored pencils. I arranged those over the shaker window. I glued some Marigold Jewels over the window as well.
I started by die-cutting the bright pink striped paper in the kit with the Lawn fawn large stitched rectangle die. I then die-cut another rectangle out of white cardstock and attached that to the center of the paper. I stamped all of the images on white cardstock and colored them in with colored pencils.
I arranged the images on the rectangle into a little scene. I added a ground with gray Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment on a white banner from the SSS Sentiment Label dies and tucked it under the balloons. I then added a second sentiment to the bottom of the card. I added some PPP Caribbean Jewels around the scene.
I used the black cardstock in the kit to create my card base. I die-cut this colorful striped paper from the kit into a rectangle and attached that to the card. I then used an MFT Rounded Inside and Out rectangle die for the white paper.
I stamped all of the images on white cardstock and colored them in with colored pencils. I arranged them over the white rectangle. I used Gray Copic Markers to create a ground under the panda and gifts.
I stamped the word "birthday" on another SSS Sentiment Label die and tucked it under the balloons. I stamped some of the confetti and stars from the stamp set over the background and colored them in with colored pencils. I also added some PPP jewels over the background.
This card is made with the Picture Book Panda die. I started by making a card base with the teal cardstock in the kit. I die-cut a piece of the polka dot patterned paper and attached that. I then die-cut three of the pandas from white cardstock and then three more from the black flocking paper and from the white flocking paper. I attached the black and white pieces to the white cardstock. I layered the three pandas over the patterned paper.
I stamped the balloons and party hats and colored them in with colored pencils. I embossed the sentiment on black cardstock with Ranger white embossing powder. I added some Caribbean Blue jewels to each side of the black cardstock banner.
I hope you enjoyed my "one stamp, five ways" post today using the new SSS Party Like A Panda kit! It's a cute one, huh? I really enjoyed that flocking paper and I'm glad I have lots left to play with. Thanks for visiting today and I hope you all have a great weekend! Suzy
