Today I have three cards to share with you using the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW MFT Stacey Yacula Piggy Pebbles stamp set. It is the cutest thing ever! These are some babes for sure! There is a stamp set as well as a die set to go with them. There is also a darling little Scene Builder stamp set to use with these piggies. I will be showing all three of these as well as the new Fishtail Flag Dies. So let's get started!
CARD 1:
I started this card with a pre-made background from THIS BLOG POST (making backgrounds ahead of time installment 3). I used Texture Paste and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink for the spots with a SSS Small Dots Stencil. I attached that to a card base made with SSS Peacock cardstock. I then die-cut a MFT Scalloped Oval Die-namics out of white cardstock and attached that over another background I made on that same blog post. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Worn Lipstick, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean. I attached that over the center of the background.
I stamped my piggies with MFT Natural Ink and colored them in with colored pencils. I added a new brand to my collection recently, so I am now using Faber Castelle Polychromos, Prismacolors, and Caran d'Arche Luminance. I will do a post on how they all compare soon as I am still using them ALL THE TIME! I attached the piglets over the oval. I then die-cut one of the new Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics for the salutation. I used Garden Patina embossing powder. I attached that below the oval and used some Aquatic Mist Glitter Nuvo Drops.
CARD 2:
This is another background I made on the same blog post. When I get these done ahead of time, I can make cards so much more quickly! I need to do a new batch soon as they are almost all gone again! I used Distress Ink with the SSS Clouds for Days and Grassy Edges stencils. I die-cut an MFT Scalloped Rectangle Frame die-namics to use as a frame over my background. I arranged that over a card base.
I stamped the piglet and the trees and clouds with MFT Natural Ink on white cardstock. I colored them in with colored pencils again. I seem to be drawn to the no-line coloring lately! I arranged them over the background. I then embossed the sentiment with Pink Peony embossing powder. I used some Glitter Nuvo Drops in Aquatic Mist and White Blizzard.
CARD 3:
This card looks like I enhanced the colors, but I didn't really do that - it just is that bright green! I stamped the background using the Scene Builder stamps and colored the grass and trees with colored pencils. I then colored the sky with Copic markers. I created a shaker window using the largest A2 Rectangle Frame Die-namics. I used several types of PPP sequins, beads, and jewels on the inside including these Iridescent Hearts.
This is how the card looks when you shake it.
I stamped the piglet with MFT Natural Ink and colored him with colored pencils again. I used a white Uniball marker on his cheeks. I used white embossing powder for the sentiment (which I had to cut into two pieces).
I hope you enjoyed these three Piglet cards - isn't this Piggy Pebbles stamp set cute? And I think I will get a lot of use out of the Scene Builder stamp set as well. Thanks so much for visiting today. All of the products I used in this post are listed below linked to both the MFT and SSS stores. xoxo Suzy
