Today I have six cards to share with you. I made four cards with the new Cupcake Critters stamp set and two cards with the new Fiesta Party stamp set. Two of the Cupcake Critters cards were already shared on the PPP Blog last week during the new product announcements, so I'll just show you the images and not go into the directions since they are there. The entire PPP new product release is HERE. You can purchase all of it together with a 10% discount HERE. So now let's get this party started!!!
Card 1: Cupcake Critters
I used the Storybook 5 die for this card with a watercolored background behind it. For some extra pizazz, I added some glitter around the edges of the frame by applying Glossy Accents and then pouring white glitter on top. I stamped the sentiment form the stamp set in the bottom opening with MFT Natural Ink and then I outlined the letters with colored pencils. I like this messy pencil look instead of ink.
I stamped all of the Cupcake Critters images on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and colored them with colored pencils. I poured some more glitter on the top of the cupcakes - this time it is a chunky white one I've had forever. I attached all of the images to the top section of the card.
Card 2: Cupcake Critters and Celebrate Shaker Die
I made the background of this card with Distress Oxide Inks - directions are on THIS BLOG POST about making card backgrounds ahead of time. I used Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, and Mermaid Lagoon applied with Ranger Blending Tools. I applied Ranger Distress Ink Spray in Picket Fence (white) to add blotches to the card front. I die-cut the Celebrate Shaker Die from white cardstock and applied Glossy Accents again to all of the edges. I then poured white glitter all over it. I'm really liking the touch of white glitter on everything lately! ha I attached it to the background at an angle.
I stamped the Cupcake Critters stamps on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and colored them with colored pencils. I attached the images around the celebrate die tucking the top one under the letters. I then used some of the new Party Jewels Mix inside the die to finish the card.
Card 3: Cupcake Critters and Pinata Party
I made this shaker card using the Cupcake Critters stamp set. There are directions for it on the PPP Blog HERE.
Card 4: Cupcake Critters and Happy Birthday Script Die
I made this card for the PPP blog also so directions for it are HERE.
Card 5: Piñata Party and Party Jewels Mix
I used the Mini Storybook 1 dies for this shaker card die-cut from white cardstock. The background behind the shaker window was also made on THIS BLOG POST about making backgrounds ahead of time. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon, and Peacock Feathers with Ranger Picket Fence spray for the splotches. Inside the shaker window I used 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins, Sparkling Clear Sequin Mix, and White Jewels.
I stamped all of the images on white cardstock with MFT natural Ink and colored them with colored pencils again (my go to coloring medium lately!). I attached them to the front of the card. I added some blue and green jewels from the new Party Mix. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on the bottom of the card with SSS Audrey Blue ink.
Card 6: Piñata Party and Decorative Tag Dies
This card is my favorite as I am really in love with this new Decorative Tags 2 die. I made the background ahead of time with directions on this blog post HERE. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick and Candied Apple. I used the Hello Bluebird Sprinkles background stamp with white embossing powder for the dots. I die-cut two of the Decorative Tags 2 Die and attached one on top of the other. I then used the largest stitched square from the Storybook 5 die for the inside of the tag - it fits perfectly!!!
I stamped all of the images from the Piñata Party stamp set on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and colored them in with colored pencils. I added the horse Piñata to the front of the tag hanging over the edge so it can open. I used one of the confetti hangers for the top. I die-cut a second set of these two images and attached them to the backside of each so they look clean from inside the card. I added some confetti to the front of the card and one of the banners to the top. I then stamped the sentiment with MFT Natural Ink on the inside square and then colored over it with colored pencils. I added some confetti stamps to the inside of the window as well. I finished the card with a few Raspberry Jewels.
