...This means today you can purchase all of the new Pretty Pink Posh products we have been teasing you with! As usual, Paulina has made it very easy to buy them all together in a bundle and you save 10% doing it. I've used all of the new products and I can't imagine living without any of them as they all work so well together. Today I am sharing two cards using the new Penguin Pals stamp set and die set as well as some of the other new stand alone dies.
Card 1:
This background was made as part of my blog post about making winter sky backgrounds HERE if you want to see it. I used an MFT Stencil called Snow Flurries and Tonic Glimmer Paste in Moonstone. First I inked it with Distress Oxide Inks in Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet. I used a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle for the bottom portion of the background with the same Glimmer Paste over a SSS Stencil called Falling Snow.
Next, I die-cut the tree shaker and two of the layered tree dies out of white cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Caroling Critters stamp set below the word Merry with black ink. I layered the trees on the front of the card covering the seam between the blue sky and white ground. I used an extra center piece on the layered tree so it is taller than it is meant to be (you could just keep building on it if you wanted!).
I stamped the little penguins from the Penguin Pal stamp set and die set on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I colored them i with colored pencils and used an N2 Copic marker for the shadows inside them. I attached them on the bottom of the card and one behind the trees peeping out. I added a few snowflake sequins to finish the card.
Card 2:
This background was made as part of the same Winter Sky Background blog post mentioned above so there are directions on it there. I used Distress Oxide Inks in the same two colors - Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet.I used Texture Paste over the MFT Snow Flurries stencil. I die-cut a snow bank using the PPP Stacked Edges 1 die. I framed it all with a white frame die-cut from the PPP Stitched Notes die.
I stamped some more of the penguins on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and colored them in with colored pencils. I added some Tonic Nuvo Glitter Drops over the scarves and skates in Sherbet Shimmer, Blue Lagoon, and Aquatic Mist. I attached them over the snow bank on the background.
I die-cut the PPP Happy Holidays Script die twice and glued them together and then glued them onto the top of the card. I covered the letters with White Blizzard Nuvo Drops (clear with glitter) so they would stand out even more. I used Marshmallow Confetti sequins from the Winter Days Confetti Mix over some of the texture paste drops and on the snow bank - I glued two together for each one so they were more opaque.
That's it until the PPP Blog Hop on November 15th and 16th where I will have two more cards using the new release. I hope you enjoyed these two today and don't forget to visit all of the Design Team blogs as most will have new product posts up today. Thanks for coming by and have a great week friends! Suzy
