And now that business is over, let's get to my creations! As most of you probably know, I have a "one stamp, five ways" blog series where I show 5 different ways to use one stamp. If you are interested in getting emails when I post to this series, just click on the button on the top left of my home page and you will get emails when I post. Mama Elephant sent me two of their new sets, so today I am adapting my regular series to a "two stamps, five ways" blog post. I hope no one minds, but the two sets were too cute to not use together! Here are my five cards using Yappy Woofmas and Oh Kitty Tree.
Card 1:

I used the
SSS Repeating Circles die for this card as the six circles were just the right size for the small dogs and cats. I covered it with "snow" with the
Falling Snow stencil and
Tonic Moonstone Glitter Paste. The sentiment is from a VERY old Mama Elephant stamp set with carolers in it - I think it was the first set I ever bought. But it is no longer for sale so sorry about that! I added some Nuvo Drops in
White Blizzard in some of the circles to match the snow.
Card 2:

I'm very proud of this card as it took some creativity on my part! I wanted to show these cute little animals decorating a tree, so I wanted to create a background that would allow me to use many of them and the cute little ornaments and presents. So I drew a tree and a stool with colored pencils. It's certainly not perfect, but I was able to cover many of my mistakes with the animals anyway! I added Tonic Nuvo Drops in glossy red, glossy white, and metallic copper to the tree and background.
Card 3:

I went a little crazy on this shaker card by adding so many different things inside it! I started with the Mama Elephant Framed tags dies for the frame. I watercolored some paper with a red watercolor wash for the inside of the shaker. I placed my kitty tree over the transparency. I filled the inside with gold, clear, and white jewels, gold beads, and lots of sparkling clear sequins.
Card 4:

This is my random stamping card. It was fun making this with the ME animals as they are really little so you can fit quite a few on here. I stamped them all with MFT Natural Ink for a no line coloring method. I then colored them with colored pencils. Then I added doodled outlines with a black fine tip marker as I thought they needed outlines. I stamped the work Meow here and there as well which was great to fill up little open spaces. I used a black banner for the sentiment with white embossing powder. I finished the card with some white jewels.
Card 5:

This card uses my other favorite ME frame die called Framed Madison Tags. I drew some hills on the inside piece with colored pencils and a black fine tip marker. I attached that to a red card base. I stamped the senimtne on the top of the frame with black ink. I colored all my animals with colored pencils again and attached them in a little scene with some presents. I finished the card with some snowflake sequins.
Here are the participants in today's blog hop - you are almost done with three days of inspiration! You can check out

DAY 2 here as well.
