Living My Dream: Pretty Pink Posh New Product Release

I don't know if you have seen any of the sneak peeks yet for the Pretty Pink Posh July 10th product release, but it is SIZZLING'! I've never used that word before, but then again, I've never liked a release this much before haha. I've already made 9 cards with all of the new products - here is a little sneak of them all:

You can't beat sea creatures, clouds, bears, little people, hot air balloons, etc..... (yep, I could go on and on). I love that all of their stamp sets work so well together. All of the products (including new sequin mixes, stamp and die sets, and stand a lone dies) will be available on July 10th for purchase and there will be a two day blog hop on July 13th and 14th. If you visit the Pretty Pink Posh blog they are showcasing projects with a different set each day. Today I want to share one of my cards with you. This one uses two of the new stamp sets - Fly A Kite and Fly Away Friends (I can't link them yet as they are not up for sale yet). It also uses the new Smile Shaker Die (although I cut the word smile out of the circle).

I started with a stitched rectangle cut from Ranger watercolor paper. I then die-cut the new Smile Shaker Die out of the top center. I took the scalloped circle out and cut the word smile out of it. I made this circle into a shaker card. I painted around the circle with turquoise watercolor. I added some of the Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequin Mix to the inside of the shaker.

I stamped all of the images on white cardstock with a light color of ink and colored them in with Copic markers. I added details and outlines with my Kaiser Craft Glitter Pens and a White Uniball marker. I stamped the sentiment with Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo ink on the bottom of the card. I added some stars and little hearts around the clouds and balloons instead of sequins.

How is everyone's summer going? We are staying busy over here and trying to enjoy every minute! If anyone remembers, last summer was a bust as my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes - I can't believe it has been a year! Well, we have learned a ton and are handling it so much better now, so this summer we are making up for it by having lots of fun vacations and beach days! I hope you are all having fun as well!
