If anyone has been following my last few blog posts, I've been sharing a card using the new Pretty Pink Posh May product release daily. Well, yesterday I didn't share a card, so to make it up to anyone who is visiting daily, today I have TWO cards to share. And the best news is today the products are available for purchase at Pretty Pink Posh. They have a bundle of all the new release products for sale HERE with a 15% discount! Now let's get to my two cards!
I started this card with a full card size stitched rectangle die-cut from Ranger Watercolor Paper. I used the PPP Scallop Oval Frame to trace a large oval on the cardstock very lightly with pencil. I stamped flowers and leaves from the Bold Blooms stamp set with Versamark Ink and embossed them with Ranger white embossing powder. Before I embossed them, I used a fine top paintbrush to remove embossing powder where the images overlapped.
Once the images were all embossed, I erased any pencil marks that showed. Then I watercolored in all of the images. I also added a wash of watercolors around the images. I stamped the sentiment in the center of the wreath with intense black ink. I used my Misti tool so it was perfectly aligned. Last, I added some sequins around the wreath to finish it off. I attached this piece to a white card base.
I started this card by die-cutting a Storybook 5 die out of Ranger Watercolor Paper. I then painted it with a blue wash of watercolors. I used a transparency and foam tape behind this piece to create my shaker card. I also die-cut the Storybook 5 die out of white cardstock. I attached the inside pieces to a white card base right where they would line up once the blue piece was attached (as I wanted the stitching to show on the inside). I then poured some of the new Spring Meadow sequin mix inside the top pocket and some 6mm and 4mm Marshmallow sequins in the bottom opening. I attached the blue piece to the top of the card.
Next, I stamped all of the cute little images from the Woodland Creatures stamp set on Neenah white cardstock using MFT Natural Ink for a no - line stamping look. I colored them in with Copic markers and die-cut them all with the Woodland Creatures dies. I placed the images over the top section layering them into a little scene. For the sconce, I cut a small slit in the bears hand and tucked it under so it looked like he was holding it. I die-cut the sentiment die from the Happy Owls die set and stamped it with Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo ink using the Happy Owls stamp set. I attached some more of the Spring Meadow sequin mix to the top of the card.
That's it for today and for my PPP blog posts about the new release. There will be a blog hop on May 10th and 11th so come back and visit then for more projects using these new products. Hope you enjoy them as much as I am enjoying them! Thanks for visiting today! Suzy
Great cards but the first is my favorite. I am always amazed with how you space things and how perfectly those flowers make that oval! Great colors and coloring! Thanks for sharing your awesome talent!!

That first card is a showstopper! Oh my goodness, so delicate and pretty. Your watercoloring skills are fantastic. I don't know that I would have the patience to try to brush away unwanted ep. I love the blue on the second card and the sweet little critters. The critters in this release are so very sweet! Thanks ever so much for sharing! :)
