If I could describe my style in both scrapbooking and card making - it would be whimsical. And if I used one word to describe the newest Pretty Pink Posh products being released, it also would be whimsical. Which means ... that I can't stop playing with these new stamps and dies. They are being released on May 1st for purchase. PPP is showcasing one set a day until then on their blog this week. I'm also going to be sharing one card a day until the release.
For my cards, I mixed many of the new sets. One of the new sets is the Bee Friends that came free with a purchase of $80 during the last release. There are also five more stamp sets with dies to match. In addition there are three stand alone die sets and several new sequin mixes. Today I am doing to share a card I made with my favorite new stamp set called Woodland Critters. I can't link it yet since it's not available yet, but I'll link it on May 1st.
My card uses my favorite random stamping technique. I stamped all of the images with MFT Natural Ink (my favorite ink for no-line stamping) on watercolor paper. I then painted all of the images in with my Daniel Smith watercolors. After they were painted, I decided they needed outlines, so I used a fine tip black marker to online them.
The sentiment comes with the stamp set. I also used a die set that came out during the last release called Scallop Squares Tag Dies for the sentiment. I used Lawn Fawn brown ink to stamp it. I cut the top off the tag and attached it to the top of the card. I used a new sequin mix coming out this release called 4mm Nature Mix.
Come back each day until May 1st to see another card made with the new products. Also don't forget to visit the Pretty Pink Posh blog daily to see the Design Teams creations using the new sets. Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
These stamps are really cute! And how cute are they on your card with random stamping. This could be used for so many occasions. You always show the stamps to their highest potential! Thanks for sharing your awesome talent!!
