Today is the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh New Product Release Blog Hop (tomorrow is day 2). If you haven't seen their new products yet, they are all available at Pretty Pink Posh HERE. Today I have three cards to share with you using some of these new products.
All three of my cards I'm going to share today use the same technique. If you have visited my blog before, you are probably used to my random stamping technique I use on all my "one stamp, five ways" posts. I thought it would be fun to try it with some of these new adorable stamps. So here we go - let's get started!
Card 1:
I used the new Easter Blessings stamp set for this card. I stamped the cute lily stamp multiple times with MFT Natural Ink (as I wanted these images to have no outlines). Then I watercolored them all in. I used silver watercolor for the pots. I added details to the flowers and pots with my Kaiser Craft glitter pens. Once they were all done, I decided I would prefer them with outlines, so I added black outlines with a Micron .05 fine tip marker for a doodled look.
Next, I die-cut the card front with the new Stitched Note Die rectangle - I thought it would add some texture to the card front. I attached both pieces to the front of a card base. I stamped the sentiment on a stitched rectangle from the Mini Storybook 1 Die. I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo ink and attached it to the top center of the card. I added some Pretty Pink Posh Summer Flower Sequin Mix.
Card 2:
I stamped all of these images with MFT Natural Ink as well for the no-outline stamping look on Ranger watercolor paper. I then watercolored them all in. I added gray shadows on each image to make them pop. I added details with my glitter pens.
I used the same Mini Storybook 1 Die for the stitched rectangle for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Lawn Fawn Hippo Ink. I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins from the new Friendship Sequins Mix to finish the card.
Card 3:
This card uses the new Bee Friends stamp set that comes from with an $80 order (and this stamp set is not being officially released until May, so that is a great offer). I again used a random stamping technique for this card. I used watercolor paper that is die-cut into a stitched rectangle the size of a card front. I then stamped all of the bees with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink (waterproof). I watercolored in all of the images and then painted the background blue. I added details and went over the bee lines with my Kaiser Craft glitter pens.
I used the new Stitched Notes Die for the sentiment. I die-cut the largest pocket (or banner as I used it here) from dark gray cardstock and yellow cardstock. I embossed the HI sentiment with dark gray embossing powder. I attached the banners to the top of the card and used some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix around it to finish the card.
