Guess what? I had a baby! Well, actually my son's wife had the baby, but that's as close as I am going to get these days. And I like to call her mine! I guess the best way to say this is I am now a grandmother! Grandmama as I want to be called just in case the word grand is too hard for her to say - heehee. Meet my adorable little grandbaby AUDREY (photo by Jamie Harper):
And now that that little order of business is over, let's move on shall we? Today I am going to share several tags I made using some Lawn Fawn tag stamps and dies. I'm guesting on the LF Blog this week and there are more ideas on using these cute tags on gifts over there. Here is a sneak of the images that will be on the LF Blog post:
I for one am not crazy about spending money on cards for gifts, especially when my daughters go to birthday parties. I figure most teenage girls would prefer another $4 on their gift card, not on an actual card for their gift! I think these little tags are just perfect to include on gifts as they are quick and easy to make and much more affordable! I made a bunch all at one time to use on some of my upcoming gifts.
I used the Lawn Fawn Tag, You're It dies and their three stamp sets that go with the dies: Birthday Tags, Winter Gifts, and Thank You Tags for all of these tags.
For this tag, I used the larger tag die and the Birthday Tag stamp set. The dog is from the Let's Play stamp set and I colored him with Copics and put him on a Flirty Frame. I used all Lawn Fawn inks for the stamping on these tags - Black Licorice and Deep Sea. I used some Liberty Twine on the top of the tag.
These tags are made with the smaller tag die. I used the tag stamp from the Thank You tags on the left hand tag and the tag stamp from the Birthday Tags on the center tag. The left tag is stamped with Wild Rose ink and the center tag is stamped with Mermaid ink. The little house (how adorable is that house!) is from the Home Sweet Home stamps. I used a Ranger Blending Tool and Freshly Cut Grass ink on the background of the tag on the right side. I love using the gorgeous Lawn Fawn twine to tie my tags to gifts. I used Pink Lemonade twine on the tag on the left and the tag on the right uses a blue and green twisted twine that Lawn Fawn ties your order together with when you order directly from them.
This tag was really fun to make! I love the leaves I stamped with the LF Freshly Cut Grass ink. I only stamped the outside edges of a leaf from the Thank You stamp set and then I colored them i with Copic markers so some were darker and some were lighter. The wood branches are from the Into the Woods stamp and die set using Walnut ink. I used a Flirty Frame stamp and die with Lemonade ink. The salutation "you're the best" is from the Thank You tag stamps and the cute little squirrel is from Critters in the Burbs stamp set. I used some hemp as a tie.
This tag is stamped with the larger tag stamp from the Thank You tag stamps and Mermaid ink. The ADORABLE (I really love this) tree is from the Let's Play stamps and dies. The bird is from Hello Sunshine and the little flower plant and the I heart You salutation is from Gleeful Gardens. The little heart is from Happy Trails. I colored all the images with Copic markers including the inside of the tag stamp. I used some green twine tied in the top of the tag.
This little tulip tag would be great for a gift of flowers! The tag is stamped with the Birthday Tags set and Wild Rose ink. The tulips are from the Eggstra Special stamp and die set. The salutation is on the Winter Gifts stamp set which can be used all year long, not just for the holidays! I colored the tulips in with Copics and then used my Wink of Stella on top of the markers to add some glitz!
This tag is die-cut from patterned paper. I used a Flirty Frame with Mermaid ink as the frame for the flowers. The flowers are from Gleeful Gardens, Let's Play, and Critters in the Burbs. The Hello uses Wild Rose ink (look at that perfect coverage!) and the Into the Woods stamp set. The adorable BEE is from Hello Sunshine. I tied some Maya Road velvet pink rick rack on the top.
For these last two tags, I used the Ranger Blending Tool again with Distress inks in Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass. The little bird house, branch, and birds are from Home Sweet Home. The clouds and leaves are from Into the Woods. The sun and larger cloud are from Hello Sunshine as well as the salutation Oh Happy Day. The little banner is from the Birthday Tag stamp set and the twine is the LF Lime Twine.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I'll be posting a bunch more baby photos from Jamie as soon as I get them. Hope to see you all back soon and have a great week! Suzy

Isn't being a Grandmama the best!!!! It's funny that is what I call myself too. So far my grandbaby Audryna calls me Ohma when she tries to say grandma LOL. Love your cute tags too. Lawn Fawn stamps are my favorite :)

Congratulations! She's beautiful and what a classic name. Lovely. It's a rainy gloomy day here but you've inspired me to make some tags and prepare for birthday party season. These are just perfect. I've always loved your drawing and scrapbooking styles so it's fun to see your cards and tags too!
