This summer we went to visit my parents in St. George as I mentioned on the last post. I also mentioned that I don't get to go often (even though it is only a six hour drive) because of my health issues and my parents are getting really old and sick (82 and 88) and I don't get enough time with them! So this trip was really special to me. I am so incredibly happy that I was able to capture almost all of it in three PL spreads and some inserts I don't have pictures of.
I love being on the Studio Calico design team because I get to use their amazing kits on my spreads and it motivates me to get some scrapping done! I used their September Poet Society project life kits on all three of these. The project life kit
is still available and it was one of my favorites ever to work with. It has so much in it for the price - here is a photo:
Using ONLY the above kit and some of the print files, I made this spread:
I used some of the amazing digital print files and I did some of my journaling online before I printed them. This saved me a lot of time! My next two spreads use leftovers from this kit as well as the two add-on PL kits that both sold out already - Yeats and Oliver.
You can see my full gallery HERE at SC with many more close up images of each spread. You can also click on the images above to see them larger.
I hope you all enjoyed your summer breaks - I'm so sad that our's officially ended yesterday. My girls are back in school today. Boohoo. Thanks for visiting! Suzy
It has been so long since I scrapped, but coming here has me in the mood. Thank you for the inspiration.
I'm thinking of you and your parents.
