Yippee - SC asked me to design a stamp set for back to school a few months ago. I thought it would be fun to try my hand at drawings rather than just text for stamps. After about 5,000 drawings, I came up with this set: It's a bit playful for those back to school projects for kids. It would be good for cards (as it was intended), but I also really like it for project life cards. My name is Suzy Plantamura. I live in sunny Orange County, California by the beach. I have three kids, one grand baby, and two dogs. I draw watercolor cards and design stamps for Simon Says Stamp. I have a blog series called "one stamp, five ways" that I post to two times a week. I want to motivate and inspire others to use their stamp sets more and learn new techniques. I love designing products and making cards to share with others!

Studio Calico September Poet Society Sneak Peeks!
Studio Calico reveals their September kits tomorrow, so I have been busy creating project life spreads for my gallery. I realized last year that I can't keep up with weekly spreads. It's not that I don't have enough pictures - I take way too many of everything we do! It's that I don't have enough time. So I have changed it a bit this year as the year progressed. Now instead of documenting each week, I am just documenting events in pocket pages. I like this method much better as I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything important because I was behind. Sharing My ART
Today I am doing something a little different and a little uncomfortable for me. I am sharing my ART with all of my blog readers. Yes, I often share my creations on here, but these are a little different. I've been just playing with art tools - watercolors, neocolor II crayons, mists, stamps, etc... I've been trying to find myself between my doodles and all of these wonderful art tools available to us. I always colored my doodles in with Copic markers, but I haven't touched them for months.
