I'm back with some more creations using my new set by My Favorite Things called Spring Has Sprung. All this spring scrapbooking has me in the mood for spring! Some of you might be experiencing winter still, but we are still having summer weather here. I want it to be cooler - it was 85 degrees today! ha Gotta love the lack of seasons in sunny Southern California.
Today I made a layout and a card to show you. First let's start with the layout. It is VERY springy!
This is an 8.5x11" layout. I have been making a lot of those lately just to change it up a bit. Here are some close up images of the layout with details about how I made each part.
For the title, I cut my "hello spring" stamp into two words and used just the spring part. I stamped it on a rectangle from the new Blueprints 13 set. I colored the rectangle and HELLO letters in with Copic markers. I love doing that as it allows you to make sure they match your layout perfectly. For the letters, I used several Die-namics including the Negative Dot Alphabet, the High-Rise Alphabet Lowercase, the High-Rise Alphabet Uppercase, and the By The Numbers. I added a bird from my new set and a border from my Sunny Day Doodles Accents and Borders set. I stamped the "best day ever" using the Laina Lamb Smart Phone stamps and Die-namics released last month.
I LOVE LOVE this little fence. I cut it from the Die-namics Picket Fence. Did I mention that it is really cute??? I sprayed it with yellow mist first. I also used another one of my new border dies called the Die-namics Scalloped Scallop Border with pink paper.
I used one of my birds on top of the fence and a border from my Borders and Accents set. I also added a phrase from the BB Sunflower Sweetheart stamp set. I also made a card with my new set.
I used a scallop edged rectangle from the Blueprints 1 set. I misted it with yellow mist. I addded a border from the Die-namics Dotted Scallop Border Trio.
The inside of the card is a sentiment from my Spring Has Sprung set with a couple of flowers as well.
And that's it for today my friends! Don't forget to visit the MFT Blog so you can see all of the other design team member creations. And the products will all go on sale on March 11th at 7:00 pm pst. SEE YOU TOMORROW!!! suzy
Love the layout and the cards. The colors are so awesome. But be careful what you wish for regarding the weather. Here in the NW we have had over 7 inches of rain in the last 3 days. Mud slides, cars buried in sink holes and houses sliding down the bluffs. Scary.

Suzy, your page is wonderful, your flowers, how you used the Blueprints. On a non-MFT note, I want to add that I'm doing "One Little Word" a la the Ali Edwards project and my word this year is Discover and I'm using an 11 x 8.5 format, which I've never done before so I really appreciate seeing your pages and how you are using all of the MFT bits and pieces and that format, it's giving me so many ideas! Thank you so much!
