The time has come:
And I have my last creation to share using the new releases! Until the New Product Launch tomorrow that is. Come back at 7:00 pm pst to the MFT website to purchase any (or all) of the new products you are interested in. Come back here to my blog to see my last projects using the new products. And just one warning - last month my stamp set sold out very quickly. They are going to restock it, but that takes a few weeks. So if you are interested in ordering this one, you might want to do it quickly. And the Love It and Celebrate Life set will be back in stock very soon!
Ok, now for my creation. Today I made a 12x12 layout to share. I like to show how my latest set works for all types of projects - PL, cards, AND scrapbook layouts. I think this Borders and Accents set definitely lends itself to all three.
Consider this layout like a page in the Where's Waldo books. See if you can find all four of my new borders from the set. I fit all of them on here. I also used a lot of other MFT dies and stamps throughout. Ok, time's up - here are the answers!
I used a sentiment from my first set, Celebrate Life. I used the dots border around this 4x3 card I made. It could have been used for project life (which was my original intention), but it also worked well on a layout. I colored in the sentiment with Copic markers as well as the dots and edges of the card. Next, I used the black and white border strip under the oval photo. For this one, I wanted it VERY black, so I embossed it with black ink and black embossing powder. I also stamped the largest heart and cut it out and placed it above that border. Last, I used the word NOTE from the "take note" stamp in the Celebrate Life set. I stamped it and just cut the word note off of it with the heart. I love thinking of more ways to use my stamp sets.
On the top of the layout, I used one of the scalloped borders from my set. I stamped it in black and cut it out. I also used the new LLD Friend Request Stamp set and the Die-namics Smart Phone dies for the speech bubble and favorite photo stamp. I've stared using the Steel Gray ink pad for most of my black stamping as I love how it is just a touch lighter than black ink.
On this photo, I used the loopy border. I embossed it with red embossing powder which looks really cool close up - you can't tell in this image though. I love the extra touch embossing adds to stamped images.
So did you find them all on your own?!?!?!?! And that is it my friends. Don't forget to go check out all of the DT blogs to see their amazing work as well! See you tomorrow shoppers! xoxo

I love the whimsy of your designs. I can still make clean and simple cards with a bit of playfulness.
