Six more days until the My Favoite Things new product release! Today I have two cards to share with you using some of the new products as well as my new set I showed on the last post called Borders and Accents. I'm so glad some of you like it - thank you for the kind comments on my last post!
I'm totally in love with the nautical products being released this month. Especially this little adorable Pure Innocence girl. I stamped her on white cardstock and then added borders around her using my new stamp set. I colored her in with Copic markers. I added some stamped hearts and some die-cut stars. Behind her is one of my favorite Die-namics, LLD Insert It - 3x4 Notebook Paper. I used the new BG Striped Background for the background of the card - I love the look of the Kraft ink with the red, white, and blue.
For the inside of the card, I used another piece of 3x4 Notebook Paper, another of the stamps in the cute little Pure Innocence Sailor Girl set for the sentiment, a couple of die-cut stars, and one of my new border stamps cut out. Last, I added one of the new anchor dies from the new amazing Let's Get Nautical Die-namics set.
For this card, I used the new Die-namics Fishnet Cover Up (serious LOVE AFFAIR with this baby!). I cut it out of both smooth white and Blu Raspberry cardstock and then inserted the blue pieces into the white piece. It was like making a puzzle, so I quite enjoyed this process. I used a sentiment stamp from my Sweet Little Memories stamp set. I framed it using my new border stamps adn then added some of the little designs on the inside of the frame from my new set in green ink. I colored it all in with Copic markers.
On the inside of the card, I embossed Celebrate Life from my first set called Celebrate Life! I added one of my borders that is also embossed and then cut out.
And that's it for today! Only a few more days until the New Product Launch on February 11th at 7:00 pm pst. Thanks for visiting and make sure to check out all of the MFT Design Teams' blogs for AMAZING inspiration each day! suzy
