Just five more days before the December MFT product release where all new items go up for sale on the MFT website (on December 10th at 7:00 pm pst). Today's products are some of my favorites from the new release. First off because today is the introduction of my new stamp set called Be Your Best Self. If you've been visiting my blog this week, you've already seen it in action. But please visit all of the DT blogs today to see what they have created with it.
Today I have two cards to share using my new set as well as some of the other new releases.
I made the base of this card using the negative space from die-cutting the new Negative Dot Alphabet. As long as you keep all the dies attached together, this is what you end up with afterwards. I just cut the leftover piece to be 5x7 and attached it to the front of my card. Then I outlined each circle with a fine tip black marker. Here is a close up view:
I also used a sentiment from my new set stamped in black ink on white smooth cardstock and then colored it in with Copic markers. I placed it over an oval from the Die-namics pierced oval Stax. The little flowers are from the Holiday Tradition Elements Die-namics. Here is the inside of the card:
This stamped quote is also from my new Be Your Best Self set. The rectangle is from the new Blueprints 10 die-namics set. I added a scalloped frame behind the sentiment and two of my new favorite borders (see supply list below). Here is my second card:
I used the Abraham Lincoln quote on this one as well from my Be Your Best Self set. I also used the darling new Pure Innocence girl from this release called Pure Innocence Close-Knit. I used the Blueprints 10 rectangle again behind the girl and then added my favorite Looped Border to the bottom edge. The inside of the card has a second border which you can see at the bottom.
I wanted to show the full inside of the card so you can see how the border flips up and the other is below. The sentiment on the inside is from my first set called Celebrate Life. It seems like just yesterday that my first set was released and here we are up to four sets now! Which brings me full circle to the fact that it is ALMOST CHRISTMAS! Ahhhh, time really does move way too fast. And with that, I'm off to work on something to show you tomorrow! Hope you all have a great day! suzy
These are all so fabulous

Thanks for the inspiration to use the negative alpha cuts (and I noticed that the loopy border didn't make it to this card)

These sentiments are wonderful Suzy! I love the sentiment with the little knitter! And especially on Melody's layout -- I assume you've seen it -- I do a lot of scrapbooking so these are great this month and your cards are wonderful this time!

Suzy, you should be smiling from ear to ear. The design team did a FABULOUS job with your sentiment. Your cards are so darling. I love looking at all the extra doodling that you add to your cards. Is there any way you can add a PIN IT button to your posts. I'd love to pin these for future reference. Thanks for sharing.
