Ok, so now that we have the "business" out of the way, I have a card to share with you.
I started my card with Sour Apple cardstock. I then used my beloved favorite color - pink Cotton Candy cardstock with the new Polka Dot Cover Up Die-namics. I stamped a sentiment from my new set "Be Your Best Self" for the front of the card on smooth white cardstock. I colored it in with Copic markers.
Next, I used a few other Die-namics to finish it off. Keep in mind that I am a recent MFT customer, so ALL their products are new to me. As you can tell, I am completely in love with die-cutting - how I lived without it for so long is beyond me. I pre-cut lots of dies before I start creating, especially things like borders that I know I will use.
I used two borders on the bottom of this card. I used a border from the Die-namics Open Simply Scallops Trio border on top of a border from the Die-namics Blueprints 4 set. Underneath my sentiment, I used the Die-namics Dainty Dots Border. I slid it underneath the sentiment so you just see part of it and it looks more like a scallop. The last Die-namic set I used on the front of the card is the Fishtail Banner, another new favorite.
Sometimes I got a little crazy on the inside of cards to use up some of those dies I pre-cut! For this one, I started with the same sentiment from my new set, but this time I embossed it with green embossing powder. Then I added a bunch of circle and flower dies around the sentiment including the following: LLD Accent It - Holiday Traditions Elements (I use these as flowers), the new Blueprints 10 set (the heart and star circles), the LLD Accent It - Flags & Tags set, and the little flower from the Fishtail Banner.
And with that, it is now time for you to leave me some loving compliments on this post - feel free to use lots of adjectives like pretty, special, one of a kind - you know, that kind of stuff. OR you can just write your name and that will qualify you equally. And then go visit the MFT blog to leave comments on all of the DT blogs for even more chances to win. And then you can go SHOPPING! I'm done ordering you around now. Have a GOOD day today! (ok well, now I'm done...I'm seriously bossy tonight!) Suzy
