I've been waiting for Girl day all week because I love scrapping with girly products and colors! But we will get to that...
First, we have a winner for the Magic line by Queen and Co. There was A LOT of excitement about this product line and I wish I had enough tape and twine to give to all of you! But we must pick just one...

I'm so excited about this new Disney stuff! I still have lots and lots of Disney pics to scrap and I do a lot with the red/yellow/black color scheme! Loving all these tapes as well. I hope my LSS orders all of it!

Congratulations to Aimee G! Shoot me an email with your address and we will get your prize out to you!
And here are the much anticipated girl tapes - there are actually two sets of them, eleven in total!
I made two layouts with these tapes. As many of my blog readers know, my two girls (9 and 12) and their friends love dressing up for what we call "funky girl photo shoots", so I had LOTS of pictures to pick from.
For this layout, I took a piece of 12x12 white cardstock and layered the tapes on top of it covering the entire thing. I then cut the middle out so I could use it for something else. Then I drew scallops along the inside edges and cut them out. I outlined my scallops with twine. It looks hard, but it really wasn't - just took a little time sitting in front of the TV!
For the title, I layered the lavendar dot tape over white die-cut letters and outlined them with a white Uniball.
For the snowcone, I first cut a 5" circle out of my leftover piece of white cardstock layered with tape. I then cut a cone shape out of white cardstock and attached them to my page. I wrapped some twine around the cone. I added buttons over the tape with silver rhinestones in the center of some of them. This page really demonstrates what I love about the tapes - you can create one of a kind titles and embellishments by getting creative with them!
For this page called Love You, I used the blue tape from the BOY collection (yes, they mix together well!). I also used some of the girl patterned papers and the new flowers and rhinestone swirls. I outlined my photos with the tape. I cut a circle from patterned paper for the title and outlined that with twine.
For the title, I used a marker to write it right on the layout first (but a pencil would work much better as you can see some of my black lines!). I then covered one letter at a time with wet sticky glue that dries clear. I took one long piece of twine and folded it in half. I used this double thick piece over the glue one letter at a time. You can see that one edge of each letter has the folded over piece. I'm telling you - this really isn't very hard to do. Twine just wants to curl and is so easy to work with. The only hard part is not getting glue every where as you do it! I find it is best to let my glue get a little tacky before I lay the twine down. ANY wet glue will work - I've used Scotch, Aleene's Tacky Glue and my current favorite is Zip Dry paper glue. It is kind of like rubber cement and you can rub off any excess. When it is just a little tacky, the twine sticks perfectly to it.
And this my friends finishes off our Queen and Co sneak peek week! I hope to peek at some of you at CHA in a few days and come visit the booth to see all these samples in person!
Two little tidbits of info you might find helpful if you are in the market for any of these products. They are sold online at scrapbook.com. I have ordered product from them and they are very quick and reliable. I am actually waiting for some WRMK page protectors from them so I can get started on my project life as we speak!
The second tidbit of info is, Queen and Co will be selling kits for all the layouts I have posted this week as well as kits for many other layouts done by all their wonderful designers! So be on the look out for those as they will be coming out soon as well.
Happy weekend to all my blog friends and welcome to my new blog readers - so thankful that Queen and Co has brought some new readers over here - I love all the nice comments you have all been leaving me! Thank you!!! Suzy
Love your innovative use of these tapes. Your layouts are beautiful. I love these girly tapes and of course they would work great for scrapping my 16 year old daughter. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing layouts today (and all this week). I can't wait to actually use this tape on layouts. It reminds me of twine - once you get hooked on using it, you can't stop and have to have all the colors/patterns. I'm glad you spread the word for Queen and Co. 'cause I wouldn't have known about it.
