I just finished another American Crafts layout and I used an action by Maggie Holmes on the photos again, so this is part two of my post from yesterday (and if interested, there will be a part three in a couple of days - more AC layouts and more photos using actions with before and after pics)...
I love a trained model. And my girls are WELL trained! Chloe picked this outfit out herself, came down, sat on the trunk and gave me the perfect "bag lady" expression. Precious. Love that I didn't say ONE word about her clothing or pose, so this picture is completely HER. She put this big pink bow on her pink kitty's head to match her and he was also part of the look. Gotta love little girls who have had a camera stuck in their face since birth - haha!
First, here is my page with the pictures using primarily new American Crafts products (listed below the layout).
American Crafts Products Used: White Cardstock (71081), Archie Angel Food Paper (35329) - Confetti, Gleam Paper (35414) - Hello Sunshine, Blissful Day Paper (35605) - Daydreams, Petunia's Pastries Paper (35532) - Garden Cafe, Poppy's Pub Paper (35542) - Garden Cafe, Carnation Corner Paper (35538) - Garden Cafe, Hardcover Aquatic (53138) - Thickers, Doll Black (53168) - Thickers, Fancy Petal 53112) - Thickers, Peachy Keen - Plastic (85539) - Elements, Round Buttons Pastels (85436) - Elements, Presents (78043) - Details, Amy Tangerine Die Cut Cardstock Shapes (77259) - Bits
Here are the before and after shots of Chloe with the actions I used.
On this image, I used Maggie's Basic Vintage action which is part of her Vintage Action set. I found this old beat up trunk at an antique store for $20. The inside is all black and white check and it is awesome!!! The vintage action gave the photo just the right look I think. It toned down all the bright colors and gave it an olden day feel.
The first image is unedited. The second image uses the same action as the photo above - Basic Vintage from the Basic Vintage set. This next image uses two actions, Lighten Up from her Color Action Set and Urban Cool from her Color Mix Action Set. I think it looks cool all blown out and bright like this.
And that is it for today - I'll be back soon with more pictures (because I can't stop playing with these actions and seeing what I can come up with!). Thanks for the visit! suzy
WOW. That layout is stunning and LOVE the photos!!!

Love the layouts and the photos. I just bought Elements and am slowly learning how to use it so it's great to see what's possible. I also saw a lot of product that I have in my stash in your 2 new layouts so I feel inspired to scrap!

I am trying to email you because I was a winner on 9/9/11 but when I click on the Email button, it does not work for me.
Next step?

No offense, but if there's a facebook like button, it'll be much easier for me to share.
