Creating Keepsakes has a contest called The Top Teen Talent Search 2011 and one of my blog friends made the top 11 finalists. I am very excited for her!!! Here is a link to her blog. You can vote for your favorite finalist until September 5th, so if you think she is as awesome of a scrapper as I think she is - place your vote HERE!!! This link will show you all of the eleven finalists entries - her name is Heather Adams and she made the really cool rainbow page.
Speaking of Heather, aka: Photochic, she asked me to post more Hawaii pics. So here you go Heather! Just a couple, many more to come and please forgive me for using the PS Elements cookie cutters. I just discovered them!
There were so many turtles swimming in Napili Bay where we hung out most days. Chloe was completely enthralled by them and we gave them LOTS of attention! One day when I was swimming, this huge one swam right under me (and scared me to death!).
This picture was taken in Lahaina late in the day right next to yummy Cheeseburger in Paradise. We had a delicious dinner there and watched the sun set, followed by shave ice over ice cream.
This was taken on our last night on the island in front of the Grand Wailia. I love it because it reminds me of a Thomas Kinkaid painting. Taking a walk along the ocean, watching the sun set was the perfect way to end our trip. This last picture is straight out of the camera - it really WAS that beautiful!
Many more pictures to come. Also scrapping some for American Crafts tonight! Have a great weekend! Suzy
Heather really is a super talented scrapper and a really sweet teenager. I am blessed to know her personally. I have been friends with her family most of my life.
