Maggie Holmes Photography Class GIVE-A-WAY!!!

I was so excited when Maggie told me I could do a photography class give-a-way on my blog! I love Maggie and her photography is AMAZING! She took pictures for me at Sophie's 11th birthday party and they are soooooo good. I am actually going to take her beginner class and her advanced class to learn some of her tricks for having such light/bright photos. Layouts....

I thought I would share some layouts I have recently made for this or that. This first one was on the American Crafts blog a few weeks ago. I really liked how it turned out. I used the back sides of some of their papers to make the sun rays. This is all the new Margarita line. This next layout was made for Kelly Purkey's online sketch class she did a few weeks ago. Monday Ramblings X 10

Since I have deemed Friday as "Photo Friday", can I deem Monday as "Monday Ramblings"? I guess I can make up my own blog rules! So today, you are subjected to my thoughts... 1) Thane gets to call home today - first time I will talk to him in 8 weeks. LOVE MY BOY! Miss my boy. He is on his way to Argentina after spending the past eight weeks in Provo to learn Spanish. Hope he remembers English for our conversation!!! 2) I cleaned up his room this weekend. Photo Friday

I have just officially named Friday as photo posting day! Let's see if it spreads across the blogging world - haha! Yesterday, I got out the old dusty well-loved camera and took some pictures that I thought I would share. First, my friend came over with her two new puppies. They were SO cute! They are a mix of several types of dogs, but primarily maltese and poodle with some terrier in there too! Aren't they adorable??? Next, we let Cheerio play in our doll house. American Crafts Margarita Layouts

I have clearly been out of commission for a couple of weeks and I apologize for not updating my blog. This might have been the longest blog vacation I have ever taken! While on my blog sabbatical, I was working hard over here.
