Check out the SC blog today - they did a little Q&A with me and I made a couple of pages using the amazingly cool new Studio Calico products (Countryside and State Fair). Here are some sneak peeks of the two layouts:
And on another note, yesterday was a big day for our family. Many tears were shed. Good-byes are NEVER fun. Especially when they are for two years! I will miss my son soooo much (there are no words to describe the hole it leaves when one of your children leaves the nest for such a long period!). But on the other hand - I am so incredibly proud of him. He is the best kid and we have been creating such quality memories together over the past few weeks of getting him ready to go. He even let me take lots of pictures of him, so I will be posting a few when I get past the tears stage.
And with that, have a happy day every one - haha! Suzy
Yay! You're blogging! I'm going to go look on SC now ;).

Suzy,
You must be so very proud of your son to take on such an incredible life experience and journey so far away from the family nest. I know your heart will ache, but he will home again and full of stories and memories to share with you. Hugs in the meanwhile...and let's hope he has SKYPE where he's going!

I'm so sorry for the sadness in your heart but I know you must be proud of him too and the time will pass quickly although it doesn't seem like it now. Hang in there and I love your sneak peeks!

You must be so proud of what your son is doing and will accomplish, it must be heartbreaking to see him go. It's sad, when you think of your child's entire life span (and hopefully that will be a LONG time...) they are only really with us such a short time before they venture off...my oldest son will be staring high school next year and that's killing me, never mind him leaving for college someday. Love your layouts over on SC, very nice!!

Oh Suzy! I didn't realize the time had finally come for him to leave. I know how bittersweet it must have been for you all. Glad that you had the chance to spend some quality time together before he left. {{hugs}}
I read your interview on the SC blog - you crack me up, girlfriend! :D Loved reading your answers and seeing your fantabulous pages. We so need to catch up - sometime soon I hope.
