STUDIO CALICO LAYOUTS!!! (and a give-a-way)

As you can tell from the all caps in this post title, I am very excited to be able to post all my Studio Calico layouts now! They had their April kit reveal last night and the design team gallery (these are some TALENTED ladies) is up. I can't say how much I love the April kit (Singin' In The Rain) and all the April add-ons (Happy Refrain, Make 'em Laugh, Moses Supposes, and Tap Dance). I had sooooo much fun working with them!!! I rest my case...

...As I have been saying for a couple weeks now, there is so much product in these Studio Calico kits, that I can't stop scrapping. I HAD TO MAKE ONE MORE LAYOUT! And if you have checked all my sneaks, you probably realize there are so many colors and styles in these kits - each of my layouts is totally different. So maybe I'll try one more today...heehee (deadline just said the 23rd, so I still have quite a few hours!)!!! This layout is really special to me. Thane is leaving on his mission in three weeks. My Last (sniff) Studio Calico Peek!!!

And NOT because I'm out of kit contents, but because I'm out of time! Tomorrow is the due date, so six will have to be all I make. (((unless I can sneak one more in tonight!). This has been SO much fun though! I haven't had this much fun scrapping in a long time thank you to the amazing Studio Calico kits I was working with. The Sneaks Keep On Coming!!!

Here is another Studio Calico peek. This one is about my beloved. So who do you think is in the picture?!?!?!?! I guess that is kind of obvious with the very hairy legs sticking out! I made the heart with the really cool herringbone background stamp that is in add-on kit four. I applied both gray ink and red ink all over the stamp. I stamped it on white cardstock several times and then embossed the designs with clear embossing powder from American Crafts. Then I cut the strips out and attached them to a cardstock heart. Another Studio Calico Sneak...

I am having so much fun scrapping with the Studio Calico kits! I'm spending a lot of time on my layouts, but it is so worth it. All of the supplies just make me want to create! I am using the main kit and the four add-on kits which go on sale on April 27th. I have added in some mist and inks and a little embossing powder, but that is about it (all sold in the shop). American Crafts BLOG Hop!!!

So now that you have HOPPED on over to my blog, let me show you a layout I made with some of my favorite new AC products. I used several techniques on this layout that I want to share with you.
