Kim Watson is from South Africa and she has been on the Creating Keepsakes Dream Team with me for the past two years. I haven't ever really known her or talked to her although I have deeply admired her work for some time. Before CHA, I offered for her to stay at my house for a few days after the show so she could see life in an American family. And luckily she said yes! She came home with me after CHA and stayed for another four days. I thought this would be a great experience for her, but I didn't realize what an incredible experience it would be for MY family! My name is Suzy Plantamura. I live in sunny Orange County, California by the beach. I have three kids, one grand baby, and two dogs. I draw watercolor cards and design stamps for Simon Says Stamp. I have a blog series called "one stamp, five ways" that I post to two times a week. I want to motivate and inspire others to use their stamp sets more and learn new techniques. I love designing products and making cards to share with others!

Getting Behind on Blogging Again...
I had all my CHA favorite product photos all edited and ready to post and then Photoshop closed for some unknown reason (hmmm...which of my three kids did that?!?!?!). This put me a little behind in doing more CHA posts. I also still need to do a CK Texture special issue give-a-way post (come back on Monday!) and I'll post about my wonderful visit with Kim Watson from South Africa next week. I subscribed to the Studio Calico kits starting in February and I received my first one on Friday. It is appropriately called Candy Shoppe and includes all my favorite bright cheerful colors. CHA: People photos continued...
I realized I could fill an entire second post with photos of people, so sorry folks, the pages and products that I loved will have to wait one more day. Where do I start?
So much to post about. I've been MIA for ages. Let's see - I went to CHA, I had a house guest named Kim Watson from South Africa for four days, I had a birthday and I've been sick. See, where does one start with all of that? And I have a new CK book to post about and do a give-a-way! I guess the best thing to do is to post every day until I get caught up.
