Creativity Heals...

I received my January Creating Keepsakes in the mail yesterday - I was so excited. I have written several articles for CK, but this is the one I was the most happy to have published. CK has started a monthly column about how Creativity Heals, so it was the perfect time for an article about how our trials help us grow and how documenting them helps us with the healing process. Jordache...

Also known as Jordan. My step-daughter, but equally my girly-friend! I wanted to dedicate a post to sweet Jordan today. See, these daily posts make me think outside the box of just posting pages!!! When I first met Jordan, she was 15 years old. I started calling her Jordache because she always wore jeans. And somehow it stuck for the past 9 years! A Promised Daily Post

I promised to post daily, but I didn't promise my posts would be interesting daily, did I?!?!?! Here are three photos Jamie Harper took when she was in town last week. I love love love Jamie and her adorable family. I love when they come stay with us. I want my kids to marry their kids so we can all be related!!! ...because I said I would update every day this week... ...because I have nothing of importance to post or say... ...you are now subjected to my random ramblings...read on if you dare. 1) Today I was thinking about getting older. I think God created us to have certain aging issues that are actually quite kind if you think about it. For example, our close up eye sight gets worse right around the time we are about 40. The same year we start to develop wrinkles and all kinds of other uglies on our faces. But we can't see them.
