Craziest Week Ever...

and I have survived. Which means no blogging was done this week - sorry about that. Would anyone like to know what has been keeping me SO busy this week? Anyone?!?!?!?! Creating Keepsakes flew me to Colorado to tape a bunch of video tutorials. The preparation for said trip was a bit crazy - I think I made about 15 projects in less than a week. But my acting debut was awesome. I think my inner diva was released and perhaps my head got a bit bigger, but over all it was a successful trip! It's Boys Week...

...over on the American Crafts Blog. I was given the assignment of making a boy project. Me? A BOY project? Thane is 19 now and doesn't like his picture taken and hates it when I use him on scrapbook pages (or blog posts for that matter), so my not so willing BOY was not an option. Happy (((early))) Halloween (((again)))...

I think this might be my third Halloween layout post and we still have a couple weeks before HW is even here! I was asked to do a guest blog post for Creating Keepsakes today, so I pulled out all my Halloween products and made three layouts using the same set of photos. CK Book Give-A-Way!!!!!!!

Daily Blog Updates?!?!?!?!?! I know, I know...don't expect this to last! Here is a page I just finished called Santa Barbara: It uses lots of new American Crafts goodies including: City Park Remarks Sticker Book Gate (42175), City Park Rock Creek Gardens Paper (35225), City Park Bay Park Paper (35246), City Park Balboa Park Paper (35236), Dear Lizzy Details Hyacinth (78041) and Dear Lizzy Enchanted Fancy Strawberry Thickers. The background paper and bottom border are Sassafrass Lass. I punched the circles out of the City Park paper that has glittered circles on it and placed them around my layout. My Favorite Photo of All Time...

I took this photo on Saturday night on Balboa Island. Sophie was having her eleventh birthday party and all the girls got dressed up and we went to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. They were walking down the street and Sophie was literally fighting to get to front and center of the picture, but her friend Kirra stole the show! It reminds me of a Sex and the City ad. These girls are all camera hogs - they love having their pictures taken! Thank goodness because Maggie Holmes was in town doing photo shoots, so I hired her to take pictures as well. Queen and Company...

My good friend Wendy is the owner of Queen and Co. She let me make some pages and cards for her for the last show - CHA summer. I thought it would be a good time to post them since the holidays are coming upon us fast! These projects are made with just cardstock and Queen and Co embellishments - they were so much fun to work with! Off to make a couple of American Crafts pages that I will post this week.
