Finally a little scrapping is getting done over here! I made these two pages using lots of American Crafts goodies!
This first page is called Sunshine Day - does that remind you of a Brady Bunch song? Sing it with me - It's a Sunshine DaaAAaAy!!!!!. Now you will have it stuck in your mind like I do (unless you are too cool to watch Brady Bunch reruns over the years). I used this really AWESOME punch I recently bought on the top of my photos. It is by EK Success and is called the Swiss Cheese Edger Punch. The glitter ribbon is by BoBunny and the rest of the products are all American Crafts (see product lists below the layout).
American Crafts Product List: Gerber Daisies Paper (35040) - I Do, Courtland Gardens Paper (35232) - City Park, Delight White (43058) - Thickers, Sunny Salmon (53120) - Thickers, Trail Remarks Stickers (42183) - City Park, Pounce Mini Mark Rub On Transfers (43378) - Dear Lizzy Spring, Grosgrain Ribbon (58008), Geranium (6115) - Memory Marker, Paper Flowers (77236) - Dear Lizzy Spring, Smiley Flair (70059) - Dear Lizzy Spring, Round Buttons Tropicals (85437)
This next layout is called Racing With Dadda. Don't know why my girls call him that, but it has been Dadda since they could talk so why change it?!!?!? Cloud paper makes me happy - I'm so glad it is popular right now. I cut strips of different American Crafts papers to use to border the photo of Tom and the girls at the Santa Barbara Zoo (they said they were racing, but I think they might have been running from a tiger that got loose). I added a few Making Memories felt flowers and American Crafts embellishments and it was done!
American Crafts Product List: Creamy Coconut Paper (35107) - Heat Wave, Hello Paper (35018) - Letterbox, Warm Wishes Paper (35007) - Letterbox, Dragonfly Dance Paper (35097) - Dear Lizzy Spring, Trail Remarks Stickers (42183) - City Park, Grosgrain Ribbon (58008), Fantastic Limeaid (53109) - Thickers, Fancy Strawberry (53111) - Thickers, Smiley Flair (70059) - Dear Lizzy Spring, Bliss Accents Multi (53034) - Dear Lizzy Spring
I still need to do some scrapping with my Suzy Kit - haven't started yet, but I promise to do it (promising myself here because no one else is going to hold me to it or even care - ha!). Have a great week and thank you for all your kind comments on my posts - they always make my day! Suzy
I'm so glad I checked your blog again today. I've missed seeing your pages. These are both so awesome. In the first one I love how you used your puncher on the photo, I have a puncher like that and always use it on paper but this will be something new for me. The splash of color everywhere is great too.
The second photo is great too. First love love how you journaled in the cloud. That's a great use of paperstrips they look perfect when I do that it just looks messy. Love all the goodies in the close up corner photo.
These both rock thanks for the ideas to use on my summer photos. Have a good week.
