Thank you for the happy anniversary's last week. We actually got away as a COUPLE for three nights - oh my! It was sooooo awesome! I felt like we were on our Honeymoon again with just the two of us. I think all couples need to do this now and then!
Tom was on a business trip in Seattle, so I flew up to join him. We spent two nights in Seattle and one night in Portland as he had meetings in both places. I LOVED PORTLAND! There was this cute little neighborhood called The Alphabet District that I fell in love with - it was so eclectic and had such funky stores (although I never got out to LOOK at them as it was raining the entire time we were there)!
In Seattle, we attended an Angels and Mariners game which was fun. We spent a day doing lots of touristy kind of things including going to the top of the Space Needle so I could take lots of pictures. We had the perfect weather on Saturday - it was gorgeous outside (no rain!!!).
These two are of Seattle, but I went a little crazy on my editing just for fun. I used a photo editing program I am loving called Picnik. You can add all the frames and cool techniques and it is so easy to use! This is downtown Seattle with Mount Rainier in the background.
And here are Tom and I sitting at my favorite Seattle restaurant called Brooklyn. Yummy!
Have a GREAT WEEK everyone!!! SUZY
I was in Seattle with my husband this past weekend too! We went to the Angels and Mariners game on Saturday. What a beautiful sunny day but the game was a blowout. Happy Anniversary. Glad you had fun. You deserve it! :)

I'm from Vancouver (Washington, not B.C.) just on the other side of the bridge from Portland. Sorry about the rain. That's how it's been this spring. Slugs, ducks, and mold spores have been happy. Come back on July 4. It usually gets hot and dry about ten minutes after the fireworks are over.
