Two Page Layouts

In the past year or so, Creating Keepsakes has requested that more of our assignments be done in the two page format using mostly 4x6 photos. At first this scared me to death - I had never really done two page layouts. But now, that is primarily what I do and I feel like I am doing REAL scrapping (not just pretty pages with one photo). 

Here are some recent two page layouts I have done. At first, I stunk at them and couldn't get the balance right. But with practice, they are coming way easier now and I actually prefer making them.

This first layout is called the Perfect Poser. These are some of my favorite photos of Miss Chloe from last summer who loves to pose for me (at my favorite photo spot in Laguna)! If you click on the images, you can see them in more detail.

 

 

The pictures on this layout are just precious to me! One Sunday afternoon when the kids were small (Chloe was only a year old or so), we played in the girl's room with all their stuffed animals. It was one of my favorite days and memories with the three kids together. I cut the flower off a shirt of Chloe's that she loved, but could no longer wear.

This last layout is really special to me. I loved being able to capture such a special day with my girls through photos and journaling. Isn't this what scrapbooking is all about?

We went to Legoland yesterday with my good friend Laura and had such a wonderful time getting rained on - haha!
