More Pages...

I actually made some more pages to post! And guess what? They aren't all BRIGHT this time! The first one is called Sweet Happy Pup and you have already seen these pictures on a past blog post! This is my beloved Mayzie. All the products are new CHA releases. The paper is Three Bugs In A Rug. The stickers and rub ons are Dear Lizzy - I seem to be using some of her products on every layout I make! The border sticker is Sassafras Lass. The cloud and Happy letters are My Minds Eye. A Couple of Layouts to Share

I have been in a scrapping R*U*T!!! I haven't been able to make any pages that I like. I went to a CHA crop at Scrapbook Oasis on Saturday and only made one page in about four hours. Granted, I was talking a bit too much (which means laughing like a hyena while sitting on the floor attempting to hold everything in if you know what I mean). Lens Talk...

So a couple of people asked me what lens I got for my birthday. And that my friends is a very LONG story. So grab something to drink and take a seat as you may be here for a while! I had two lenses that I used on my Canon 40D - the 50mm 1.4 and the 28-135 3.5-5.0 I/S. Both are GREAT lenses, but I was never completely happy with my photos. I had L series lens envy as I've previously mentioned. I thought if I had a fancy L series lens, I might be able to get those crisp, milky colored, bright photos that I always want, but can't seem to get without editing. Based upon two friends... An UPDATE - finally!

I have not updated my blog in a whole week! I don't even have a good excuse. Ok, now that I think about it, I do, I do, I do! I was too busy taking pictures with my new lens my hubby got me for my birthday. I've been taking pictures of everything - my dog, the neighbor's dog, the kids, the beach, etc... Wooohoooo! Lots to say today. So first of all, FRIDAY, is my birthday! And all I want for my birthday is the gift of time. Is that something we are allowed to ask for? Just four more hours in a day. Each day of the week. Four more hours to get stuff done and feel like I am on top of my life. I think it is a fair request for a mom, don't you? If only it was possible...
