I have been in a scrapping R*U*T!!! I haven't been able to make any pages that I like. I went to a CHA crop at Scrapbook Oasis on Saturday and only made one page in about four hours. Granted, I was talking a bit too much (which means laughing like a hyena while sitting on the floor attempting to hold everything in if you know what I mean). And the one page that I made was ugly - I didn't even like it!
I put everything away until today. Then I wasted a couple more hours today moving things around and getting mad! I have all these new products I can't wait to work with (including Dear Lizzy for heaven's sake!) and some photos I love and I can't even make a decent page. So annoying!
Finally this afternoon, I decided to give up on the two layouts I had been working on and start over. Sorry Karen, but I ripped apart the umbrella page you wanted to hang in your store. And once I decided to start over, these two came together rather quickly (which is always a good sign). I'm so relieved that I can still scrap - I was really starting to worry!
I think everything on here is new from CHA. The yellow paper is American Crafts, the blue is Fancy Pants, the banner border and cloud sticker are Sassafras Lass. The red letters are Dear Lizzy and the blue letters are Bella Blvd.I have to post a close up image of cute little Jude in his costume - he is so adorable!!!
This paper is not new, but I love it - by Bella Blvd. The border sticker is Sassafras Lass and the umbrellas are all by Making Memories. The journaling card is My Minds Eye and the chipboard letters are American Crafts. The rub ons are Dear Lizzy.
This is unheard of - I actually updated my blog two days in a row!!! Whoooooopeeeee!!! Let's see if I can stay on this scrapping roll and get some more posted this week! Suzy
I love the way you scrap with such bright colors!

These are beautiful, Suzy! I have to ask...how do you find all your different colored papers from different vendors to all go together? How do you organize your paper stash? I have almost all these paper lines(or have them on pre-order!) and I would have never thought to combine them. I'm so stymied by the fact they come in 'packs' of pre-coordinated sets that I have that 'keep them as a set' mentality. I imagine you have a sheer tonnage of paper..how do you find anything to pull together a layout? (I mean that in the most respectful way, lol).
I've just re-organized most of my pattern paper but I can't seem to want to break up my 'sets' i.e. the Serendipity line. Tell me your secret! Now I'm off to hunt through your blog to see if you've already taken pics of your scrap room/organization! I suppose I should have checked first, but I'd already typed this all out! Thanks Suzy, you are an amazing talent!
