Oh how I love markers! I have quite a collection, but never seem to have enough. Do you have a supply that you just can't get enough of? I use them on every scrapbook project I make, especially for journaling and outlining photos.
Today I am the Guest Blogger on the Creating Keepsakes Blog! My post is about how to incorporate the use of markers into your scrapbooking projects. Here are a couple of cropped images of my layouts:
If you go to the CK blog, you can see the entire pages as well as step by step instructions on how to make the Maya Road acrylic snowflakes. I also posted a photo of my favorite markers and what I use them for.
I think my best holiday memory with the girls this year was making gift tags. The boys were gone one night before Christmas, so the girls and I wanted to do something fun together. We pulled out my Slice and cut all kinds of fun holiday designs. The Slice is perfect for kids because it is so easy to use - we all fight over it and have to take turns. After we cut the tags out, we decorated them with scrapbook embellishments and MARKERS! Markers added the journaling, lines around the edges and little details. Here are some pictures of the tags tied to cookies we made for friends:
Have I mentioned yet that I love Markers??? I hope you enjoyed the CK post and are motivated to pull out all your markers and do some coloring! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!Suzy
Adorable and happy 2010!!!

Hi Suzy!
Have you seen the cute Gnome and Woodland stickers from EK Success, Martha Stewart line? I saw them and thought of you and your adorable Elf Obsession layout. Now I know gnomes are no elves, but I thought they might be the kind of thing you'd like all the same. Hope you are having a great new year. Have a wonderful time at CHA!
